PAT CURCIO

Pat Curcio has acquired a lifetime of hockey experience, having played professionally both North America and Europe before entering the world of hockey operations at the conclusion of his career. Pat’s first experience in the agency business came while working with the Gus Badali who represented a variety of NHL stars, including future hall of famers Wayne Gretzky, Steve Yzerman and Paul Coffey. While working with Gus, Pat studied Law and Security before beginning a career in coaching that included stints in the OHL with the London Knights and Soo Greyhounds; ECHL with the Utah Grizzlies and San Francisco Bulls; Italy with HC Bolzano and HC Milano; and finally in the Swiss NLA with HC Lugano where he helped guide the club to 3 finals, losing twice to Team Canada at the Spengler Cup. After helping construct the roster of the 2017 EBEL champion HC Bolzano Foxes, Pat returned to agency field, becoming a partner with Optima World Sports in 2018.

DAVID IMONTI
PARTNER/PLAYER AGENT
Since beginning his career as an agent in 2008, David has firmly established himself as one of the hardest working agents in the business, servicing clients in leagues ranging from entry-level to elite. A native of San Diego, California, David played hockey collegiately at Weber State University before embarking on a brief career as a professional player both in North America and Europe before transitioning to a career as a full-time agent upon concluding his playing career. In 2008 David established 37 HOCKEY, LLC, an agency that he operated for nearly 12 years, representing hundreds of professional players during this time before joining Optima World Sports in 2019.

Ron Chipperfield
A founding member of Optima World Sports, Ron retired from the business after serving as a partner for 24 years. Prior to working as an agent, Ron enjoyed a lengthy career as a professional hockey player that saw him serve as the Edmonton Oilers' first NHL captain. He played for the Oilers in both the World Hockey Association (WHA) and the National Hockey League (NHL), as well as the Vancouver Blazers and the Calgary Cowboys of the WHA, and the Quebec Nordiques of the NHL.
Brett Callighen
A founding partner of Optima World Sports, Brett retired from the business in 2018 after 23 years with the company. As a player, Brett played 160 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) and 213 games in the World Hockey Association (WHA). He played for the New England Whalers and Edmonton Oilers. He was Wayne Gretzky's first regular left winger before departing to Europe where he spent time playing in both Switzerland and Austria before concluding his playing career after the 1986 season.
